Elizabeth J. Horan

Elizabeth Jane Horan, "Jane", 99, of Fremont, passed away Wednesday afternoon, November 16, 2022 at her residence. She was born June 6, 1923 in Fremont, the daughter of August and Lavina (Haubert) Foos. Jane was a graduate of Fremont Ross. On September 15, 1945 she married John J. Horan at St. Ann Catholic Church, he preceded her in death June 12, 2000. She was a member of St. Ann and Sacred Heart. She enjoyed bowling, bingo, family and going out for meals.

Surviving are her children Peggy (Mike) Young of Sandusky, OH; Patti (Scott) Tucker and Linda (Tim) Grayson; grandchildren Greg (Tammy) Bauders, Todd (Windsor) Bauders, Noah Grayson, Emily Grayson, D.J. (Marissa) Tucker, Jared (Jody) Young, Barbara (David) Lazarony, Kim (Chris) Mehling, Daniel Young, great-grandchildren: Zach, Margaret Ruth, Payson, Walker, Chase, Chelsea, Emerson, Elias, Easton, Ellianna, Eli, Camden; great-great-grandchild Charlie Irene. She was preceded in death by siblings Delores Pickard, Thomas Foos, Bud Foos, Clara Ellis, Bob Foos and Lucy Haubert.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, November 20, 2022 from 6-8P.M. at Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Crematory, 900 North Street, Fremont, Ohio. A Memorial Mass will take place at 11:30A.M. on Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 550 Smith Road, Fremont. Additional visiting will begin at the church at 10:30A.M. Rev. Krzysztof Kardzis will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Ann Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Promedica Heartland Hospice or the Ovarian Cancer Connection.
