Edwardo "Eddie" Chavez III

Edwardo “Eddie” Chavez III, 26, of Miami, FL, formerly of Fremont, passed away on August 15, 2021. He was born on June 4, 1995, to Edwardo Chavez, Jr., and Tina Chavez in Bellevue, Ohio. He enjoyed playing football, wrestling, exercising, being outdoors and having fun at the beach. Eddie loved being with his family whenever he could, especially his girls, who he loved beyond measure. He will be remembered most for his infectious smile that could light up a room and for his big heart. Eddie will be sorely missed by all that knew and loved him.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, daughter, Isabela Chavez, loving companion, Laura Baez, siblings; Jose Montez, Eriana Chavez, Emiliano Chavez, Aleiyah Chavez, paternal grandfather, Edwardo Chavez, and maternal grandmother, Angelina Montez. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Maria del Carmen Chavez, maternal grandfather, Oscar Montez and uncle, Alejandro Montez.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 27, 2021, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Crematory, 900 North Street, Fremont, Ohio, 43420. A Celebration of Life service will begin at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Deacon Mel Shell will officiate. For those who cannot attend, livestreaming of his services will be available on the funeral home’s main page under the live webcasts tab.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given for the care of his daughter, Isabela, in c/o his parents.
