Donna Rose Woodruff

Donna Rose Woodruff, 70, of Kansas, passed away on December 22, 2021, at St. Catherine’s Manor of Fostoria. She was born in Fremont, Ohio, on August 6, 1951, to Walter and Lucy (Good) Fox. Donna graduated from Lakota High School and married her high school sweetheart, Raymond Woodruff, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Millersville on July 11, 1970. She was a stay-at-home mom who loved crocheting, doing needlepoint and baking cookies in her spare time. Donna was a member of the VFW and American Legion Auxiliary, Eagles and the Moose in Fremont, St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Millersville and St. James Catholic Church in Fostoria.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Amy Yates, Christine Castillo, Christopher Woodruff, Jason Woodruff and 3 grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband and her brother, Allan Fox.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a vigil beginning at 6:30 PM at Herman-Veh Funeral Home & Crematory, 319 W. Madison Street, Gibsonburg, Ohio, 43431. Funeral services will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at 10:00 AM. Fr. Gregory A. Bishop will officiate. Burial will follow at Kansas Cemetery.
