Donna J. Kane, 82 of Fremont died on July 13, 2022 at Bethesda Care Center with her family by her side.

She was born on September 18, 1939 to the late Paul and Celeste (Ratt) Hauck in Fremont.

On July 2, 1960, Donna married Ron Kane and have shared 62 years together.

Donna was a 1957 graduate of St. Joseph Catholic High School. She went on to work for Fremont Federal Credit Union and was their first full-time employee. She worked as a teller and later as a bookkeeper in accounting.

Donna and Ron shared the Summers at the Catawba Point Association, where Donna would enjoy the beautiful sunsets over Lake Erie. She also enjoyed reading and collecting teapots.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Ron; children, Jeffrey A. Kane and Martin L. (Robbie) Kane; grandchildren, Samantha (James) Chavez, Abigail (Jacob) Adams, and Marlena (Nathanael) Wood; great-grandchildren, Olivia Chavez, Jonah Chavez, Elyse Adams, and Natalie Wood; and siblings, Carol Calabrese, Tom (Marcia) Hauck, Barb Hauck, Pat Timmons, and Kathy Drown.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Celeste; and brother, Lamar Hauck.

A time of visitation will be held on Monday, July 18, 2022 at the Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Crematory, Fremont from 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at 10:00 AM.
