Clifford Ralph Harris 90, of Gibsonburg passed away on December 2, 2021, at Genoa Care Center. He was born on October 6, 1931, to the late Grover in Elizabeth (Nease) Harris in Letart Township, Ohio.
On February 24, 1951, he married Minnie L. Triplett in Portland, Ohio, sharing many loving years together.
Clifford joined the United States Army and proudly served his country from 1951-1954. He operated tanks while stationed in Alheim, Germany.
From there he went on to drive semi-truck during the week and help neighbors and friends hauling stone over the weekends. Clifford was a member of the Gibsonburg American Legion, and was a jack of all trades, always helping those who needed it.
Left to cherish Clifford's memory are his daughter, Nancy (Bob) Krumnow of Gibsonburg; grandchildren, Jennifer (Chris) Buchanan of Elmore, and Matthew (Michele) Krumnow of Martin; great-grandchildren, Courteney (Liam Rogers) Buchanan, CJ Buchanan, Caydie Buchanan, Lindsey Krumnow, and Trenton Krumnow; siblings, Dorothy Ford, Curtis Harris, Carroll (Sue) Harris, and Jane (Jack) Bartenschlag; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Clifford is preceded in death by his parents, Grover and Elizabeth; wife, Minnie; and siblings, Isabel Lewis, Clarence Harris, Macil Harris, Stacil Bogard, Letha Harris, Betty Frazier, Ruth Burgoon, Carl Harris, and June Wagner.
Services for Clifford will be private for the family with burial held at Westwood Cemetery, Woodville.
Memorial Donations in Clifford's name may be made to the Gibsonburg American Legion Post #17 or to Elara Hospice.
