Clara "Joyce" Hunt

Clara Joyce Hunt, 90, of Gibsonburg, passed away at Windsor Lane on June 13, 2023. She was born in Rollersville, Ohio, on October 5, 1932, to Marion and Chloe (Swartz) Kern. She married Edward Hunt, and he preceded her in death on August 2, 1995. 

Joyce and Edward were lifetime members of the Fremont VFW, Moose and Eagles. She loved gambling, her favorite being penny slot machines, and traveled to various casinos around the U.S. and even Canada. Joyce was a supervisor at Motor Wheel in Luckey, Ohio, and retired after 25 years. 

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Edward (Sue) Hunt Jr, of WY, Marion C. “Mac” (Judy) Hunt of Gibsonburg, Dennis “Denny” Hunt of TN, Nancy (Jim) Fairbanks, Tammy (Joe) King both of Helena, OH; 9 grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren. 

In addition to her parents and her husband, Joyce was preceded in death by 16 siblings.

Per Joyce’s wishes there will be no services. She will be buried privately with her husband at Restlawn Memorial Park in Perrysburg, OH.
