Christopher Paul Widman, 67, passed away peacefully at his home in Concord, NC on December 12, 2021.
Chris was born in Fremont, Ohio on August 7, 1954 to Norman and Wilma (Avers) Widman. After graduation from Fremont Ross High School in 1972, he studied at Ohio State University and then started his career at 84 Lumber. The start of Golfmart of Naperville, a full-service retail golf store was born and grew over the years to three locations throughout the Chicago suburbs. Chris leaves behind his wife of 46 years, Pamela (Swint) Widman; cherished daughter, Michelle Widman-Rudicil and her husband Christopher Mark "Rudy"; three adorable granddaughters, Morgan Alexis, Addison Grace, and Emerson Leigh; brothers, Norman (Sally), Joseph (Marty), Alan; sisters, Linda (Lee) Slane, Cathy (Frank) Gay, Mary (Greg) Kuns and several nieces and nephews.
