Christopher Kaple

Christopher P. Kaple "Bubba", 56 of Fremont passed away on December 10, 2024 at his home. He was born on March 16, 1968 to Paul Kaple and Judy (Sunderland) Kingsborough in Fremont. 

A 1986 graduate of Fremont Ross High School, Chris most recently worked for the Alkon Corporation in Fremont. 

On February 15, 2007, Chris married Rhonda Perkins and have shared over 25 loving years together. 

An avid football fan, Chris enjoyed watching the Cincinnati Bengals and The Ohio State Buckeyes. He also loved NASCAR, traveling with his family, and camping. He was also a member of the Fremont Eagles. 

His daughter will fondly remember their mutual nickname "Goob". 

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Rhonda; daughter, Kirsten Kaple; bonus children, Nicole Pitchford of Fremont and Heather (Joe) Lyons of Centerville; bonus grandchildren, Ariyah, Jadyn, Bryn, Kyra, and Tyriq; parents, Paul Kaple of Fremont and Judy Kingsborough of Fremont; sister, Melissa Kaple Harrison of Fremont; step-siblings, Dennis (Alison) Kuzma, Joey (Lisa) Kuzma, Tiffany (Garry) Clarke, Dorri (Spiros) Karagiannis, Adam (Emily) Kingsborough, and Jody (Jim Huckleberry) Kingsborough; four-legged grandchild, Sage; and the entire Perkins family. 

Chris is preceded in death by his stepfather, Michael Kingsborough.

Visitation for Chris will be held on Tuesday, December 17 at the Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Crematory, Fremont from 10:00AM-12:00PM. A memorial service will begin at 12:00PM following visitation at the funeral home. 

Donations in Christopher's name may be made to his family, in care of his wife, Rhonda.
