Carolyn McKeever Nieset

Carolyn McKeever Nieset, of Fremont, passed away March 22, 2023 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. She was born May 3, 1965 in Fremont the daughter of Donald R. and Norma (Sorg) McKeever.

Carolyn was a graduate of Fremont Ross High. She was a homemaker, an avid Christmas cookie baker and a lover of her kitties. Carolyn always said “a home wasn’t a home until she got done with it.”

Surviving is her husband Robert Nieset of Fremont; children Ashley (Eric) McKeever Barnum and Anthony McKeever of Sandusky; grandchildren: Maeve Spencer, Michael Spencer, Harlan Barnum, Addie Daznett, Jimi McKeever; sisters Donna Baker of Fremont and Barb Widman of Bettsville. She was preceded in death by her parents; son Robert T. Nieset, brother Robert McKeever, and granddaughter Ireland McKeever.

Private burial will take place.
