Carnetta Weber, 86 of Helena passed away on Monday, April 7, 2025. She was born in Johnson County, Kentucky on April 24, 1938 to the late Zollie and Rebecca (Gamble) Love. Carnetta was a warmhearted homemaker. She married the love of her life, Willis "Bud" Weber on March 4, 1960 at Zion Lutheran Church in Gibsonburg.
Carnetta enjoyed listening to blue grass music. She was an exceptional shot in black powder guns, and was a member of the Sandusky County Hawk Eyes. She liked to tend to her garden, cook and mow. Above all, she loved her family and will be deeply missed.
In addition to her husband of 65 years, left to cherish her memory is her son, Douglas Allen Weber of Dayton; brother, William (Shirley) Love of Gibsonburg; grandchildren, Joshua and Tyler Weber; 3 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Kathy Lynn Weber; siblings, Dorothy Love, Hazel Love, Robert Love, MaryEllen Blevins, Zollie "Junior" Love, Rosetta Wilson, Virgil Love and George Love.
Visitation will be held at the Herman-Veh Funeral Home & Crematory, Gibsonburg on Sunday, April 13th from 1-3 & 5-7 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 14th, at 10 AM at the funeral home. Pastor Tim Miller will officiate, and burial will follow at West Union Cemetery, Gibsonburg.
Memorials in honor of Carnetta may be made to Faith Lutheran Church.
