Brant D. Borer, 47, of Fremont, passed away December 8, 2024, at Toledo Hospital. He was born November 25, 1977, in Fremont to Dale and Melissa (Hooten) Borer. Brant graduated from Fremont Ross High School in 1997. He dedicated many years of his career to Whirlpool, where he worked on the production line and made lasting friendships along the way. Although Brant was a simple man, he was known for his vibrant spirit. He found joy in heavy metal and rock music, loved the thrill of horror movies, especially Halloween, and watching WWE Wrestling. Brant was also a huge Ohio State Buckeyes fan and he loved his cat, Missy. 

Left to cherish his memory are his siblings, Samantha (Vaughn) Billow, his fraternal twin, Brian Borer, both of Fremont, Kristin Hetrick (Jason Sinford) of Spring Valley, CA; niece, Jenna (Jaiden) Delong. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his niece, Emma Sinford.

Visitation will be held Saturday, December 14, 2024, from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Crematory, 900 North Street, Fremont, Ohio, 43420. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Pastor Travis Montgomery will officiate. For those unable to attend, live-streaming of services will be available by following the link on his obituary page.

Following the funeral services, friends and family are invited to the Pontifex, 416 W State St, Fremont, OH, 43420, for a luncheon and to continue sharing memories of Brant.

To reflect Brant’s unique personality, his family requests that visitors wear casual clothes or their favorite rock band or Halloween shirts.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to his family, c/o Samantha or Brian.
