Bob K. Follman

Bob K. Follman, 72 of Port Clinton passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at ProMedica Toledo Hospital surrounded by his family. 

He was born on March 1, 1952 to the late Warren and Jean (Aspacher) Follman. 

A 1970 graduate of Gibsonburg High School, Bob went on to work for multiple companies, particularly enjoying his time at the Eckrich Company. Later on, he started his own business as an insurance specialist for Genesis Insurance in Fremont. 

On May 24, 1974, he married Donna Jean Overmyer and shared over 38 years together until her passing in 2012.

Bob was a member of Family of Faith Methodist Church in Port Clinton. 

He was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan and enjoyed spending time in his pool and grilling out with friends and family. Bob also loved going to car shows and auctions. His 2014 Mustang was his pride and joy. 

Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Leslie (Shane) Rogers and Libby Follman; bonus sons, Eric Cranmer, and Mark Cranmer; 9 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; life partner, Nilene Imke; brother, Chuck (Linda) Follman; many nieces and nephews; and four-legged friend, Skylee. 

Bob is preceded in death by his wife, Donna; and parents, Warren and Jean.

Visitation for Bob will be held on Wednesday, December 18 from 10:00AM-12:00PM at the Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Crematory, Fremont. Funeral services will be held at 12:00PM following visitation at the funeral home with burial to follow at Lindsey Cemetery. 

Donations in Bob's name may be made to ARC of Ottawa County to the Donna Follman Scholarship Fund.
