Betty Falkner

Betty J. Falkner, 89, of Fremont passed away in the early morning of March 17, 2020 at Countryside Manor. She was born on September 27, 1930 to the late Tracy and Nora (Waugh) Post in Wellston, Ohio.

On August 16, 1948, she married Rev. Robert Falkner. Together, they shared 70 years of marriage before his passing in 2018.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Cheryl Carrier Rosenberger of AZ and Carol (Donald) Falkner Wineland of Clyde, OH; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Tracy and Nora; husband, Robert; sisters, Edith Simpson, Eva Downerd, and Ruth Post; brother, Gordon Post; and son-in-law, Clarence Rosenberger.

In light of recent events and our concern for our community members, services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Betty’s honor may be made to a Hospice Center of the donor’s choice.
