Barbara Diehr, 77, of Clyde, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 29, 2018 at Heritage Village, Clyde. She was born on September 15, 1941 in Sandusky to Clifford & Edna (Reed) Ball.
Barb attended Townsend School in Vickery. She was employed as a home healthcare aide for several years. Barb was a member of We-R-Mothers Club, the Townsend Farm Women’s Sunshine Club, the Eagles #712 and the VFW. Barb was a big fan of Elvis. She loved to listen to his music and took several trips to visit his house in Graceland. Barb enjoyed traveling, but most of all, she loved to spend time with her family.
She is survived by her sons, David Diehr of Bettsville and Kevin Diehr of Fremont; 4 grandchildren; and sisters, Betty Pocock and Sharon Disalvio.
Barb is preceded in death by her parents; ex-husband, John Diehr; and son, Robert.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at the Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont from 9-11 a.m., where Funeral Services will begin at 11 a.m. Pastor Jeanette Thorp will officiate. Burial will follow at Parkhurst Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in Barb’s name to the Sandusky County Humane Society or to ProMedica Hospice of Memorial Hospital, 715 S. Taft Ave, Fremont, Ohio, 43420.
