Austin Martin Dye

Austin Martin Dye, 30, of Cleveland, passed away on July 30, 2021.

Austin was born in Toledo on June 14, 1991, to Amanda Martin and Douglas Dye.

He was a 2010 graduate of Fremont Ross High School where he completed post-secondary classes at Terra Community College. Austin went on to study at Kent State University and was currently taking computer coding and design classes at Stanford University.

A bright light in his family and friends' lives, Austin enjoyed making people happy. He loved to cook and put his mixology skills to good use serving family and friends. Austin previously worked as a mixologist at The Greenhouse Tavern in Cleveland, Ohio and was also a personal shopper. An avid traveler, Austin's favorite destination was his trip to Australia.

Survivors include his parents, Amanda Martin of Fremont, and Douglas (Karri) Dye, of Toledo; grandparents, Richard and Victoria Martin of Fremont and Peter and Elaine Dye of Fremont; Aunt, Angie Martin and Uncle, Rick (Kristy) Martin, both of Fremont; Cousins, Bailey Martin, Connor Martin, and Averie Trevino; Aunt, Debbie (Jeff) Streaker, of Fremont; Aunt, Diana (Bruce) Mertz of Huntington, Indiana; Aunt, Denise (Bryan) Brubaker of Fremont, and Cousins, Chase Streaker, Lucas Streaker, Logan Streaker, Cody Mertz, Desirae Bruce, Machaela Peters, Carter Mertz, Gabrielle Garza, Asher Brubaker, Cameo Brubaker, Miya Brubaker, Naiccole Brubaker.

Austin also had many close friends that he loved and adored that survive him.

Austin was preceded in death by his faithful companion, Royce (Bear).

A celebration of Austin's life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions in Austin and Royce's names can be made to any charity that helps place trained therapy dogs with those in need or to your local animal shelter.
