Anna May Brockschmidt, 73, residing in Fremont and formerly of Gibsonburg, passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Countryside Manor, Fremont
She was born on December 13, 1947 in Pomeory, OH to William Perry and Edith M. (Badgely) Jeffers. After her father's death, Anna was raised by her foster parents, William and Caroline Kiser in Rising Sun.
Anna graduated from Lakota High School in 1967. For many years she worked as an aide at Windsor Lane Health Care Center, Gibsonburg.
Anna married Marvin Chalfin and later Steven Brockschmidt despite both marriages ending in divorce, Anna was able to nurture and grow her family. She would love to cook a large meal, reminisce past times, and send a dish of leftovers with each member of her family. She had an abiding faith in God and always put others first. She loved to dance, listen to country music, and watch the Hallmark and Animal Planet Channels. Placed beside her bed, she would always have a book of word searches. Though life brought many health challenges, Anna never felt sorry for herself and kept a good perspective and positive outlook.
