Fremont- Ann Ellen Randolph, 81, formerly of Sylvania and Elmwood of Fremont passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at ProMedica Toledo Hospital. She was born on October 15, 1937 in Toledo to the late William F. and Ruth M. (Behan) Randolph, Sr.
Ann was a 1955 Fremont Ross High School graduate as well as a graduate of Bowling Green University. She began her teaching career at Lindsey, then Jerusalem Twp., and St. Ann’s, Fremont before becoming a Remedial Reading Specialist for 30 years at Stewart Elementary in Toledo.
Ann was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Sylvania. She was a Past President of the Toledo Symphony League.
Surviving are siblings, Farnham Randolph, Richard (Valma) Randolph, Suzanne (Charles) Miller, Philip (Peggy) Randolph, Rita (David) Isaacson, and Charles (Marianne) Randolph; brother-in-law, Jim Willey; and several nieces and nephews.
Ann is preceded in death by her sister, Ruth Willey; and sister-in-law, Ruth Ann Randolph.
Visitation will be held at the Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont on Sunday, November 18, 2018 from 2-6 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at St. Ann’s Catholic Community on Monday, 10 a.m. November 19, 2018. Fr. Michael Roemmele will officiate. Burial will follow at Lindsey Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Sylvania, St. Ann’s Catholic Community, Fremont or to Elmwood Activities Department.
