Andrea "Andy" Obregon - Vento

Andrea Obregon, 71 passed away on the morning of Saturday August 24th in Clyde, Ohio.

Andy was born on April 17th 1953, to her parents, Gavino and Genevieve Obregon in Fremont, Ohio. After graduating from Gibsonburg High School in 1972 she worked at Ohio Job and Family Services and later ABC INOAC. She married Enrique Vento in 1972 and had her two sons Enrique Jr. and Andrew. After a brief residence in Texas she returned to Ohio to be closer to family and raise her two sons.

Known for her communion with family she loved to spend her time breaking bread, cooking and taking trips when she could. She was active in the church attending services at Triumph Foundation. She was admired by her colleagues, often building friendships in unlikely places. Her laugh was infectious, lighting up the room everywhere she went. Her kind heart will be her enduring memory. 

In addition to her parents Andrea is preceded in death by her brother Mario Obregon and her sister Maureen Kerlin. She is survived by her two sons, Enrique Vento Jr. and Andrew Vento, her two grandchildren Israel Vento and Liyah Vento as well as her brother David (Alma) Obregon

Donations may go to Triumph Foundation Church. The family of Andrea wishes to give sincere thanks to Phil Cisneros and Angie Weaver, Maria and Dwayne Porteous for all of their help, Trustwell Living at Clyde Gardens Place and Triumph Foundation Church. 

Services will be held Thursday August 29th at Herman-Veh funeral home from 4pm to 8pm and Friday August 30th 10:30am at Triumph Foundation.
