Amy Louise Evans

Amy Louise Evans, 64, of Risingsun, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2022. She was born on September 26, 1957 in Fremont to the late Martin and Phyllis (Johnson) Recny. Amy was a Gibsonburg High School graduate. She worked for may years a a house keeper, and she enjoyed sewing and crocheting.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Mandy (Robert) Duron of Defiance, Gwen Godlewski of Gibsonburg, and Jamie (Michael) Foreman of Bowling Green; grandchildren, Chasity (Stephen) Carnicom, Logan Godlewski, Daniel Estep, Nolan Garner, Dallas Duron, Tyler Duron, Julia Duron, Cashmire Allen, Brianna Skaff, Damon Allen, and Dana Kerbal; great-grandchildren, Kayden Carnicom, Kolton Carnicom, Kaizer Estep, and Cobe Carnicom; siblings, Robin Cornell, Sue (Luke) Lawrence, Martin Recny Jr. and Mark (Viola) Recny.

She is preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Chelsie Cogar; and siblings, Robert Recny and Michael Recny.

Visitation will be held at the Herman-Veh Funeral Home & Crematory, Gibsonburg on Saturday, July 16th from 12-3 PM where services will begin at 3 PM. Amy's brother, Rev. Mark Recny will officiate. Burial will be held at Hessville Cemetery at a later date.
