Alfred H. Floriana

Alfred H. Floriana Jr., 82, of Fremont passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at ProMedica Toledo Hospital. He was born on November 5, 1939 in Locust Point to the late Alfred and Violet (Rutherford) Floriana.

Alfred worked for Fremont Roofing and retired from his career in 2003. He married Ruth Rhoads on May 10, 1981 at Clyde City Hall. They shared 40 wonderful years together until Ruth's passing on January 18, 2022.

Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Mike (Kathryn) Collins of Fremont and Rich (Brenda) Gilbert of Clyde; 6 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; siblings, Ted Floriana, Jane Tabor, Bonnie Young, Doug Floriana, and Robert Floriana; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ruth; daughter, Pam McClelland; and siblings, Kenneth Floriana, Margie Cantley, Fred Floriana, Richard Floriana, Denny Floriana, and Ronnie Floriana

Alfred enjoyed fishing and was an avid reader of Westerns. He also found joy in watching wrestling and game shows on TV.

Visitation will be held at the Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Crematory, Fremont on Monday, September 12, 2022 from 12:00-2:00PM with a formal time to share memories beginning at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Clyde.

Memorial contributions in honor of Alfred may be made to the care of the funeral home.
