Gladine G. Brockway

Gladine G. Brockway, 78, of Fremont died Saturday, March 5, 2005 at Bethesda Care Center, Fremont She was born April 4, 1926 in Clyde, OH. A daughter to Edward and Elsie (Overmyer) Polter. Mrs. Brockway graduated from Jackson Burgoon High School in 1947 then worked for Quick Cut as a laborer. She was a member of St Johns Lutheran Church, Fremont. Her husband, Burl Brockway, whom she married August 21, 1948, died July 18, 1999. She leaves two sons, Kenneth (Sally) Brockway, Columbia, Maryland and Ronald (Evie) Brockway, San Jose, California; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; one sister Ada May Biehler, Fremont, Ohio. Preceding her in death are her parents, husband, and four brothers, Lester, Clarence, Henry and Donald Polter. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 9, 2005, at 10:00 a.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Fremont with Pastor Stephen Wally Seibel officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday March 8, 2005 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.

Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Fremont.
