Helen H. Brown, 80 of Fremont, died early Sunday morning at The Elmwood Nursing Home, Green Springs. She was born on November 28, 1926 in Whitleyville Tennessee to the now deceased Galie (Alta) Bilbrey Keith. Her first husband, Richard Fawley, whom she married in 1944 died April 28, 1987, and her second husband, Robert A. Brown, whom she married June 14, 1976, died July 9, 2005. Helen worked as a waitress and a Hostess for the Fremont Holiday Inn, Ramada Inn, Island House, and The Beach Club in Port Clinton, retiring in the mid 1970s. Helen was a member of the Church of Christ in Fremont, and enjoyed her children and grandchildren along with visiting with family and friends. She also enjoyed cooking, baking, flowers, gardening, bird watching, country western music and bingo. Surviving are her children, Judy (Ned) Garn, Chardon OH, Joyce (Ron) Mooney, John (Kathy) Fawley, Jim (Jane) Fawley, all of Fremont, and Rick (Sarah) Fawley, Toledo; Siblings Mrs. Betsey Klinger, Akron, OH, Mrs. Robbie Turner, Red Boiling Springs, TN, Mrs. Dean Blankenship, Lafayette, TN, Dovie Pemberton, Franklin, IN, Dumas Keith, Oak Ridge, TN and Durell Keith, Red Boiling Springs, TN; 13 grandchildren, and three great- grandchildren; She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands, siblings Burr and Ray Keith, Mary Winter, Edith Selzer and one granddaughter, Jennifer Fawley. Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Services will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2007 at the Funeral Home at 10:30 am. Preacher Ted Bowen will officiate. Burial will follow at Block Cemetery. Memorial donations in Helens name may be made to Alzheimer Association, Northwest Ohio Chapter.
