Dorothy Brunner

Dorothy Brunner, 97, formerly of Gibsonburg, died Monday, November 12, 2007 at Countryside Continuing Care Center, Fremont. She was born on November 13, 1909 in Tiffin, OH to the now deceased George and Ida M. (Michaels) Hunker. Dorothy was a homemaker, loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved flowers and especially roses.

Surviving is son, David (Karen) Hemminger of Fremont; sisters, Aleta Chadwick of Berea, OH, Ruth Clark of Tiffin; two step-grandchildren, three step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by two husbands, Harry Hemminger in 1968 and Alois Brunner in 1980. Ten siblings, Glen, Owen, Bessie, Helen, Raymond, Marjorie, John, Pauline, George and Madeline also precede her.

Memorial services will Sunday, November 18, 2:00 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Gibsonburg where visitation will begin one hour prior to the start of the service. Rev. Jerel Jackson will officiate.

At a later date, burial will be at West Union Cemetery, Gibsonburg.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Memorial Hospital in Dorothys name.
