Eloise M. Bruns

Eloise M Bruns 77, formerly of Gibsonburg died Saturday, April 14, 2007 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. She was born on December 14, 1929 in Gibsonburg to Carl & Mattie (Roebke) Walker. Elosie graduated from Gibsonburg High School in 1947. On December 17, 1949 she married Benjamin C. Benny Bruns at Zion Lutheran Church, Gibsonburg and he preceded her in death on December 22, 2005. Eloise was a homemaker, a member of Zion Lutheran Church, the women of the church and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star 133 of Fremont. She is survived by children Glenn (Mary) Bruns of Gibsonburg, Denis Bruns of Perrysburg, Gay (Jeff) Tingley of Northwood, JoAnne (Randy) Beeker and Keith (Teresa) Bruns all of Gibsonburg, 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, several step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters-in-law; Charlotte & Kathleen Walker both of Gibsonburg and a brother-in-law; Ralph (Ruth) Bruns of Pemberville. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brothers Vernis & Willis Walker.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Gibsonburg. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at Zion Lutheran Church, Gibsonburg where her body will lie in state one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow at West Union Cemetery, Gibsonburg. Memorial donations may be made in Eloises name to Zion Lutheran Church or to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
