Long time Gibsonburg resident, Leslie Bryant, Sr. died at his home with family and friends by his side, Friday morning, October 26. He was 68 years old.
Born on February 4, 1939 in Beetle, KY, Leslie was a son of the now deceased Clarence Edward and Mae (Conley) Bryant. On June 8, 1963, he married Verna J. Salyers at the Nazarene Church in Gibsonburg. She survives. Les worked for U.S. Gypsum in Genoa and loved spending time with his family. He also enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing.
In addition to his wife, Les is survived by children Leslie, Jr. of Green Springs, Kenneth E. of Gibsonburg, Jeffrey P. (Stacy) of Bettsville, Rebecca J. (Gerald) Reed and Debra R. Jacobs both of Gibsonburg and Cynthia A (David) Rau of Fremont; grandchildren Matthew, Heather, Joshua, Andrew, Emily, Keith, Kurtis, Brandon, John, Bobby, Ashley, Cody, Katelyn and Aaron; great grandchildren Destiny and Xavier; and siblings William Hall of Hitchens, KY, Ruby Conley of Gibsonburg and Bertha Mull of Woodville.
He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings George Hall and Dorothy Porter.
Funeral services will be Monday, October 29, 2:00 p.m., at the Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Gibsonburg where visitation will be from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Reverend Harry Hunt will officiate.
Burial will be at West Union Cemetery.
Memorial donations in Leslies name may be made to his family.
