Mary E. Burgess

Mary E. Burgess, 96, of Kansas died Sunday afternoon at Genoa Care Center. She was born in Elmore to Charles F. and Nellie (Cowley) Damschroder. She married George P. Burgess in 1931 and he is deceased. Mary graduated from Elmore High School in 1925 and St. Vincent Medical School in 1929 and was a liflong area resident. She is survived by brother, Charles Damschroder and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she is preceded by her parents, brothers, Burton, Wilbur and Donald; sisters Anabell Damschroder and Gladys Veres. Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 26th. Services were held on Thursday at the funeral home and burial followed at Toledo Memorial Park, Sylvania.
