Lindsey resident Betty L. Aldrich, age 77, formerly of Gibsonburg died Friday evening, September 21 at the Parkview Care Center in Fremont.
Betty was born on April 6, 1930 in Fremont to the now deceased Edward and Leona (Baumert) Bohnhoff. On September 7, 1946 she married Wilfred Jake Aldrich in Napoleon. Jake survives.
Betty worked at Singer-Eaton Controls where she was an assembler for many years. She retired from there in 1990. Betty was known to enjoy spending time with her family and friends playing cards, euchre and pinochle. She was an animal lover and enjoyed gardening, sewing and quilting.
Surviving her are her children Juanita (Dennis) Patynko of Fremont, Fritz (Karla) of Salem, WI, Larry (Karen) of Lindsey, Carol (Jim) Biehler and Nancy (Robert) Pressler of Fremont, Brenda (Dennis) Herman of Mishawaka, IN, Tim of Lindsey and Todd of Olympia, WA, sister in law Harriet Adkins of Florida, 16 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother and sister in law, Vernon and Patsy Bohnhoff.
Memorial services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bettys name may be made to St. Johns Lutheran Church or to the Birchard Public Library.
Arrangements are being handled with the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont.
