Louise Jeanette Aldrich, 88 formerly of Helena, died on Monday, November 3, 2008 at the home of her daughter in Bradner. She was born on May 24, 1920 to Benjamin and Alice (Johnston) Laney in Helena, Ohio. She married Ray Aldrich in New Rochester, OH and he preceded her in death on Nov. 18, 1990. Louise was a homemaker, and previously worked as a seasonal laborer at H.J. Heinz Company and as a private house cleaner.
Surviving are children, Ray (Chris) Jr. of Genoa, Joan (Bob) Goodman of Bowling Green, Robert (Jane) of Helena and Barbara Conway of Bradner, grandchildren, Debbie Villarreal, Becky Gill, Tina Angelini, Brenda Smith, Tim and Jamey Aldrich, Helen Clere, Travis Brown, Robert,Greg and Ben Goodman, Bea Harris, Gina Peppers, Al Aldrich, Sheril Shafer, Jodi Bryan, Robert and William Peters and Susan Weaver, 44 great grandchildren and 27 great-great grandchildren and half sisters, Roxanne Laney of Bowling Green and Virginia Layman of Bradner.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and brothers, Jim and Albert Laney.
Visitation will be from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Gibsonburg on Friday, November 7th. Services will be on Saturday at the funeral home at 10 a.m. with Chaplain Kathie Tomazic officiating. Burial will follow at Scott Trinity Cemetery, Kansas, OH.
