June C. Amor, 89, of Fremont died Saturday, June 25, 2011 at Bethesda Care Center, Fremont. She was born on August 4, 1921 to the now deceased Andrew and Louise (Schmidt) Heck in Tiffin, OH. June was a 1939 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School and attended Davis Business College in Toledo, OH. On February 5, 1941 she married Joseph Edward Amor in Napoleon, OH and he preceded her in death on November 15, 2002. June and Joe operated Amors Sohio Service in the 1950s and was the secretary/bookkeeper for Economy Plumbers in the 1970s. She was a member of the East Side Presbyterian Church. June enjoyed reading, traveling, cooking, baking, needlework, shopping and spending time with family and friends.
Surviving is a sister, Pauline (John) Greenwood of Anaheim, CA; nieces and nephews: Sharon (Cal) Wong of Kaneohe, HI, Carol Heck of North Carolina, John Greenwood of Long Beach, CA; great niece, Taylor Wong and great nephew, Christopher Wong both of Kaneohe, HI. June was also loved and admired by her husbands nieces, Michele Amor Miller, Anita Amor Szymanowski, Leslie Amor Darr, Jackie Amor Zitzelberger, Beth Amor, Debbie Amor, Sherry Amor Vargo, Lisa Amor Bartson, Amy Amor Davidson, Cindy King Stierwalt; nephews, Mike, Scott, Steve, Kyle and Troy Amor, Mark & Rick King. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Carl Heck; sisters, Edna (William) Maule and Miss Wilma Heck.
There will be a private service at the Fairmont Cemetery in Tiffin, OH.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont.
Memorials may be made to Stein Hospice in Junes memory.
