William A. Amor, 75 of Fremont died on Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at the home of his son. He was born on April 21, 1934 in Fremont to Joseph Sr. and Lillian (Meyers) Amor. William was a 1954 graduate of Fremont Ross High School. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. On August 11, 1957 he married Marlene Miarer in Fremont and she preceded him in death April 20, 2007. William was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, a past church elder and deacon, a member of the WA-JA-SA Council of Sandusky County Farm Bureau and past board member of FSA (Farm Service Agency). He enjoyed golfing and his family.
Surviving are children: Troy Amor, Kyle (Jody) Amor both of Fremont and Amy (Kent) Davidson of Bowling Green, OH; grandchildren, Cody (Hayley) Amor, Amanda & Samantha Davidson, Kaylee, Kole & Alyssa Amor; great-grandson, Cyler Amor; brother, Richard Amor and sister, Lola King both of Fremont. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, brothers Joseph Jr., James and Jack.
Visitation will be on Saturday, September 5th from 4 - 7 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont. Services will be held on Sunday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. William McConnell officiating. Burial will follow at Four Mile House Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Memorial Hospital or to the First Presbyterian Church in Williams memory.
