Robert D Caz. Caswall Jr., 70, of Elmore died suddenly Monday morning May 9, 2005. He was born on February 27, 1935 in Toledo to R. Dean & Marcia (Shaw) Caswall. Robert graduated from Rossford High School in 1953 and attended Penta County police academy. Early in his life he volunteered as a fireman in Erie Twp. MI, and was a Monroe Co. Deputy Sheriff. On May 5, 1984 he married V. Carol Cook and she survives in Elmore. Robert also worked as a machine designer working for Glass Tech and Peterson retiring in 1999. Robert had received over 30 patents with his name on them. Robert was a member of the Sandusky Co. Sportsmans Club, Toledo Muzzleloaders, NRA, NMLRA, Contemporary Long Riffle Assoc., Ohio Buckskin Rendezvous, NSS-A, and he submitted and published several articles in the Muzzleblast Magazine; he was also on the committee for rebuilding Fort Meigs. Also surviving are a son; Robert D. (Leslie) Caswall III, of Sharpsburg, GA, grandson; Christopher Caswall of Athens, GA, sister; Elizabeth Caswall Webb of Perrysburg, brother; Lenard (Sharon) Caswall of Tucker, GA and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two infant sons. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2005 at the Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Gibsonburg from 2-9 PM. Funeral services will be held on Friday at the funeral home at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow at Fort. Meigs Cemetery, Perrysburg at 12:30 PM.
