Charles A. Clark, 92 of Fremont, died Tuesday evening at Bethesda Care Center. He was born on June 29, 1914 in Collins, OH to the now-deceased Arthur Dowd and June (Johnson) Clark. Charles was a 1931 graduate of Gibsonburg High School. In September 1934 he married Dorothy Fausey and she survives in Pioneer, OH. In July 1968, he married Aletha B. Lybarger and she survives in Fremont. Charles worked as an electrician at Brush Wellman for many years. He was a Mason for 66 years, a member of the Zenobia Shrine, IBEW Local Union #8 and a member of Faith Lutheran Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are daughters, Carol (Jerry) Keesecker of Camden, MI, Ann (Tom) Lane of Pembroke, ME, Janet (Paul) Pertner of Rossford, OH and Kay Oldham of Maumee, OH; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and brothers John Clark of FL, Alan Clark, and nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Betty Hughes; great granddaughter, Carlee Perkins, brothers, Edgar, Lyle and sister, Mary Ellen Hayes.
Visitation will be on Friday from 11 a.m. 1 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Gibsonburg. Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will take place at Maplewood Cemetery, North Baltimore at a later date.
Memorials may be made to: Bethesda Care Center, Hospice of Memorial Hospital, Faith Lutheran Church.
