Phillip V. Baskey, Sr.

Former Fremonter, Phillip V. Baskey, Sr., 48 died suddenly Sunday morning in Marion. He was born in Fremont to the now-deceased Louis and Ruth Anna (Rutan) Baskey Jr. He married Joann Crawford in Kentucky and they had four loving children. In addition to his former wife, Joann, he is survived by son, Philip V. (Kimberly) Baskey Jr.; daughter, Nichole L. Baskey, and son, Jason A. (Kristen)Baskey; grandchildren, Noelle, Hannah, and Delilah; brothers, Michael, John, Paul, David (Christina) Basket; and sister Lou Ann (Tom) Eaton. Also surviving ae Uncle Phil (Helen) Rutan and aunts Marilyn (Joe) Mitchell and Joyce (Bob) Skrak. Preceding him are his paretns and infant daughter, Carrie Mae Baskey. Visitation was on Friday August 13, 2004 at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Fremont. Services were held on Saturday at the funeral home and burial was at Four Mile House Cemetery.
