Vivian Imogene Clymer, 72, died peacefully Friday, February 20, 2009 at the Arbors at Clyde. She was born in Buchan, Virginia to Arvil & Alta (Viers) Owens on March 6, 1936. In October of 1954 she married Otis Clymer at Grace Lutheran Church, Fremont. He died on Sunday, February 22, 2009.
Vivian worked at S. E. Hyman, Nickels Bakery and was a school bus driver for many years. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and loved children. She attended First Baptist Church of Clyde.
Surviving her are children, Brenda (Joe) Durbin of Fremont, Linda Nichols of Clyde, Becky Gordon of Sandusky, 15 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, siblings, Janice Lauer, Lorene Elswick, Earnest Owens, Philadene Deel. She is preceded in death by her parents, son William O. Clymer and son in law Joe Nichols.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 27, 2009 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at the funeral home starting at 10:30 with visitation one hour prior.
Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Fremont.
Memorial donations in loving remembrance of Vivian may be made to her family.
