Lester Collins

Lester Collins, Sr. 60, of Helena, died late Monday evening at Medical College Hospital of Ohio, Toledo. He was born on September 26, 1944 in Fremont to Christine June Calhoun. On February 4, 1967 he married Helen Burditt in Whitehouse, OH and she survives. Lester worked at the Pfizer Lime Plant and was a member of the Sandusky County Sportsman Club.

Surviving Lester are stepfather, Robert Collins, children Lester (Tammy) Collins, Jr., Robert (Alicia) Collins, Lisa (Joe) Kelly all of Helena, four grandchildren, brothers Robert, of Mansfield, Alfred of Toledo, sisters Ruth Root, Toledo and Linda Thiebeault of Winterhaven, FL.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Visitation will be on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Gibsonburg.

Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Robert Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow at Metzger Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family
