Doris J. "Diddy" Beckley

Doris J. "Diddy" Beckley, 73 of Linda Dr. died Friday at home. She was born in Port Clinton to the now-deceased Ernest and Alice (Duby)Bass. She married Jack Beckley on April 6, 1948 in Fremont. He died in 2002. Surviving are children, Chris (Mike) Lowery, Ernie Beckley, Sallie (Tim) Younker; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Jack (Kay) Bass and sister, Shirley (Bill) Shortridge. Preceding her are her parents, son, Timothy in 1997, sisters, Ida Zwerman and Helen Shively and brother, Ernie Bass. Visitation was held on Tuesday at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Services were on Wednesday at the funeral home and burial was at Port Clinton Cemetery.
