Louis William Cooper

October 16, 1925 — December 11, 2007

Louis William (Bill) Cooper, 82 of Green Springs, died on Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at the Bellevue Hospital. He was born on October 16, 1925 in Tiffin to the now deceased William Vale and Olivia Crist Cooper. Bill served in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict and in Japan. He worked as a press operator at the Ford Plant in Sandusky for 30 years. On July 10, 1959 he married Eunice Manning in Fremont and she survives.

Bill was a life member of the VFW Clyde. He enjoyed his two dogs, working in the yard and sitting on the swing with his wife by the pond. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren, watching football and shooting pool.

Surviving in addition to his wife, are children, Larry (Theresa) Eichhorn of Ridgeland, MS, Cathy (John) Pasch of Fremont, Carol Scherf of Clyde and James (Connie) Jones of Fremont; ten grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren and a sister, Mary Good of Fremont. He is preceded in death by his parents; a son, Dale Eichhorn; sisters, Joan Pump and Phoebe Webb and a brother, Thomas Cooper.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 14th from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont. Services will be on Saturday beginning at 12 noon with visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Pastor Robert Quillen will officiate. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens in Clyde with military rites by the Clyde VFW.

Memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice in Bills name.
