Lois R. (Williamson) Corfman, 80, of Gibsonburg, died Friday morning at St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo. She was born on March 8, 1926 to the now deceased Harry and Carrie (Schepman) Garn in Gibsonburg. Lois was a graduate of Gibsonburg High School and a typist for the Department of Agriculture. On August 26,1946 she married Norman Williamson and they remained happily married until his death in 1995. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church.
Surviving are children, Pamela (Roger) Murphy of Columbus, Phyllis (Lewis) Morelock, Mary Conlon both of Gibsonburg, John (Phyllis) Williamson of Stanley, NC, Patrick (Monica) Williamson of Columbus; nine grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and siblings, Vincent, Ray, Mildred, Willard and James Garn.
Lois was a devoted and hard working mother who enjoyed baking a fantastic selection of pies. She (and the pies) will be greatly missed. The family will accept visitors on Monday, July 3 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Faith United Methodist Church in Gibsonburg. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. at the church with Rev. Jerel Jackson officiating.
