Rose Marie Boukissen

Rose Marie Boukissen, 79 formerly of Rawson Ave., Fremont, died late Tuesday evening at Rutherford Assisted Living where she has resided for the last five years. She was born on May 6, 1928 in Fremont to the now deceased Otto and Anna (Abowd) Boukissen. Rose graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1946. She worked for the family at Billys in Fremont, Secrets Restaurant in Tiffin and Camies in Clyde for a number of years. Rose was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Fremont. She loved playing cards, visiting relatives in California and spending time with her family.

Surviving are sisters, Alberta Salem, JoAnn Oddo both of Fremont, Jeanette (John Sr.) Famulare of Bellevue, sisters-in-law, Edith Boukissen of Fremont and Patricia Boukissen of Vero Beach, FL, many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Preceding her in death are her parents, brothers, Joseph and William Boukissen, niece, Loretta Salem, brothers-in-law, Cameron Salem and James Oddo. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 5th at 11:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with one hour of visitation prior at the church. Rev. David Brunning will be officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
