Catherine M. Depner

Catherine M. Depner, 86, of Gibsonburg, died early Thursday morning at Bethesda Care Center in Fremont. She was born on June 29, 1918, to Vern and Mame (Burke) Cook in Fremont, OH. Catherine graduated from Fremont Ross High School and on July 18, 1945 she married Richard Depner Sr. in Toledo and he survives. She was a loving mother and a homemaker. Catherine was also a member of Zion Lutheran Church, the Women of the Church and the Stitch and Chatter Club. Also surviving is son Richard (Becky) Depner Jr., Gibsonburg; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Her parents and two sisters preceded her in death. Visitation: Monday, Dec. 27 from 3-7 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Gibsonburg. Services: Zion Lutheran Church, Gibsonburg, on Tuesday, Dec. 28 at 9 p.m. with Rev. Blair Miller officiating. There will be an additional visitation from 1 to 2 p.m. at the church prior to the service. Burial: Eisenhour Cemetery. Memorials: Donations may be made to the donors choice.
