Cyril S. Dickman, age 92, of Dayton, OH died peacefully Monday, November 26, 2007 in Dayton. He was born in 1915 in Fremont, Ohio to Stan and Minna (Seils) Dickman, he graduated from Elmore High School class of 1933. In 1940 he married Florence Giesler at St. Joseph Church in Fremont. He is survived by sons, Ronald and Dave, daughter, Victoria (James) Ronk, his beloved grandson, Lucas, sisters, Grace (Myron) Schelb, Circleville, OH, Bertha (Nelson) Rohloff of Curtice, OH; brother, James (Shirley) Dickman, Zanesville, OH and dear friend, Betty Buehler of Kettering, OH.
His wife Florence, brother Vernon and sister Beatrice Gargrave preceded him in death. He worked for the Sheffield Corporation for more than 40 years as a toolmaker. He was well liked by all; well loved by all fortunate enough to know him well. Unfailingly polite and cheerful, his primary concern was always the welfare of others. He never knew a stranger.
A prayer service will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services with one hour of visitation prior to the service. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Fremont.
