Norma J. Diebley, 70, of Helena, died Monday afternoon at her home. She was born on June 15, 1935 in Gibsonburg to the now deceased Walter and Delores (Pugh) Heminger. Norma was a 1953 graduate of Gibsonburg High School. On December 29, 1981 she married John Diebley in Helena and he survives. Norma worked in the office of Atlas Industries for a number of years, retiring in 1985. She was a member of the American Legion and served on the Board of Elections.
Surviving are children Patrick (Betty) McGlennen of Worthville, KY, Jeffrey Diebley of Palm Springs, CA, Judy (Ben) DOoge of Knoxville, KY, four grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; sisters, Marilyn (John) Moore of Millbury, Sandra Lease of Gibsonburg; brothers, Allen (Sheri) Heminger of Oregon, Don (Mary Sue) Heminger of Helena, Larry (Irma) Heminger of N. Fort Myers, FL and Dan (Sharon) Heminger of Gibsonburg; one sister, Wanda Gail Heminger is deceased.
Visitation will be on Thursday, June 15, 2006 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Gibsonburg. Graveside Services and burial will be held on Friday, June 16, 2006 at 2:30 p.m. at West Union Cemetery with Pastor Becky Schofield officiating.
Memorial donations may be made to Heartland Hospice, Helena Fire Dept. or Shiloh United Methodist Church of Helena.
