Margaret Marg Edmonds, 90, of Fremont, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 8, 2008 at Bethesda Care Center surrounded by her family and friends. She was born on December 31, 1917 in Fremont to the now deceased Perry and Ella (Stierwalt) Hetrick. Marg was a 1935 graduate of Fremont High School and on September 1, 1940, she married Donald R. Edmonds at Grace Lutheran Church. Donald preceded her in death on March 10, 1996. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Fremont, the Womens Hope Missionary Circle at church and the In-Betweeners. Marg was a secretary for the former Fremont Paper Box and a clerk for the Hilt Insurance Company in Fremont, retiring in 1980. Surviving is a daughter, Connie (Lauren) Lieske of Port Clinton; brother, Robert Hetrick of Fremont and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, siblings LeRoy, Frank and Sherman Hetrick, Lucille Thompson, Helen Anstead, Beulah Edmonds, Ramona Bauders and Doris Faist.
Visitation will be on Monday, May 12, 2008 from 2-8 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont. Services will be on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church with one hour of visitation at church prior to the service. Certified Celebrant Maureen Pump and Pastor James Lehman of St. Johns Lutheran Church of Port Clinton will be officiating. Burial will follow at Faith Lutheran Cemetery. Memorial donation may be made to Hospice of Memorial Hospital or Bethesda Care Center in Margs name.
