Marilyn J. Engler, 70, of Fremont, died early Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at the Cleveland Clinic. She was born on May 15, 1938 in Lima to the now deceased Raymond and Betty (Fraunfelter) Dotson. Marilyn was a 1956 graduate of Fremont Ross High School. On July 20, 1968 she married Jay Engler in Fremont and he survives. She and Jay own Engler Printing. Marilyn was a member of The United Methodist Church, the Soroptomists of Fremont and a life member of ACD Museum & Club. She loved her family especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Kelly (Rob) Aneshansel of Canal Fulton, Ohio; four grandchildren, Audrey, Brady, Jessica and Luke Aneshansel. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Fannie C. Engler of Fremont.
Visitation will be on Thursday, June 26th from 4-8 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont. Services will be on Friday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Certified Celebrant Maureen Pump officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. A celebration of Marilyns life will be held at her home directly following the services at the cemetery.
