Kevin T. Ernsberger, 52, of Gibsonburg, died on Saturday, June 27, 2009 at his home. He was born on April 29, 1957 in Fremont to Kenneth Sherman and Elsie Jane (Taylor) Ernsberger. Kevin was a graduate of Clyde High School and had served in the US Navy from 1976 to 1977. He was a mail carrier for the US Postal Service for 22 years and prior to he was employed by A.R.C.O. in New Jersey for 10 years. Kevin was a member of the Woodville United Methodist Church. On September 11, 1998 he married Darlene Rohtert in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee and she survives. He was a devoted father & grandfather and loved the grand kids dearly. He spent much time outdoors and thoroughly enjoyed caring for his yard, landscaping and the many animals, of which he and his wife rescued.
Also surviving are children, Jay Ernsberger of Helena, Colleen (Chris) Mangus of Woodville, Charlie (Tessa) Rohtert of Millbury, Kyle Ernsberger of Helena, Devon (Ben) Harpster of Bradner, Zack Rohtert of Tiffin and Demitrius Ernsberger of Gibsonburg; siblings, Brian (Pat) Ernsberger, Diane (Jack) Mesnard, Paulett Manahan, Jane (Pete) Fantino, twin brother Kent (Linda), Kerry (Dana) Ernsberger and Cathy (Kenneth) Lowe, six grandsons, and one granddaughter, Gracie.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at Woodville United Methodist Church at 6 p.m. with Rev. Judith Frank officiating. Memorials may be made to the family.
