Margaret G. Fader, 90 of Genoa and formerly of Elmore, died Wednesday evening November 9, 2005 at Genoa Care Center. She was born on January 20, 1915 in Fremont to Henry Edward and Elsie (Reed) Rearick. Margaret was a graduate of Fremont Ross High School. On October 25, 1941 she married, her husband of 64 years, Robert Bob Fader at Grace Lutheran Church, Fremont and he survives.
Margaret was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Fremont. She had worked at Cox and Son Cleaners for 8 years, the Herbrand Company for 6 years and the cafeteria for the Sandusky County Board of Education for 12 years, retiring in 1981. She played high school basketball while attending Ross and was on the churchs bowling team for 4 years.
Surviving Margaret are her husband, sister in law, Carol (Dale) Weihrouch of Elmore, three nieces and nine great nieces and nephews. Her parents, brothers, Lowell and William, sister Helen Carnicom and a nephew precede her in death.
Visitation will be on Friday, 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Fremont. Funeral services will be on Saturday, 10:30 A.M. at St. Paul Trinity United Methodist Church in Elmore where there will be one hour of visitation prior to the funeral. Pastor Kathleen Kisner will be officiating. Burial will follow at Four Mile House Cemetery, Fremont.
Memorial donations may be made to the Genoa Retirement Village.
