Barbarita M. Flores

Barbarita M. Flores, daughter of Rosendo and Rosa (Garcia) Mesa, born in Delores, TX on February 20, 1916, died on March 24, 2000 in St. Charles Hospital, Oregon, OH. She was a homemaker for sixty years raising eleven children. Mrs. Flores operated a catering service for many years specializing in Mexican recipes. On November 26, 1937 she married Arnolfo Flores, Sr in Loredo, TX. He died April 10, 1997. Surviving are daughters, Andrea Garcia of Toledo, Lali (Esmeralda) Mendoza of Port Clinton, Gracie Cook, Tencha (Hortencia) Flores, Alma Obregon and Lydia Alejandro all of Fremont, Mary (Alomar) Leeson of Bath, OH; sons, Arnolfo (Arnie) Flores, Jr. of Fremont, Richard Flores of Risingsun, Jorge (George) Flores of Helena, and Eddie Flores of Fostoria; two sisters, Augustina Flores of Gibsonburg and Blasita Cano of Corpus Christi, TX; thirty-one grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband and a brother, Simon Estrada. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery, Millersville, OH.
