John Louis Fork

John Louis Fork, 53, of Patterson St., Gibsonburg, died peacefully in his home Friday morning. John was born in Fremont to Ralph C. and Anna Lucille (McDonald) Fork. They survive in Gibsonburg. A 1969 graduate of Gibsonburg High School, he worked for Verizon, retiring as a facilities technician in 2003. John was a memeber of the Zion Lutheran Church and formerly of its council in Gibsonburg and was a Past Master of the Gibsonburg Masonic Lodge No. 575. He was currently serving the community as a Madison Township Trustee and previously served at the Sandusky County Airport Authority where he was president and board member for nine years. John was also a board member of the Sandusky County Economic Development Committee for eight years. On October 12, 1979, he married Brenda J. Bower at Zion Lutheran Church and she survives. Also surviving are sons, Michael John (Bethany) Fork and Kevin Louis (Becky Henderson) Fork all of Gibsonburg; siblings, Dennis (Toriko) Fork of North Las Vegas, NV, Kenny (Diane) Fork of Gibsonburg, Ronnie (Brenda) Fork of Pemberville, Linda (Dana) Long of Gibsonburg and Jerry Fork of Mansfield. Burial: West Union Cemetery, Gibsonburg. Memorials: to the Hospice of Memorial Hospital or Zion Lutheran Church.
