Corrine E. Fosnaught, 92, of Lindsey, died early Thursday morning at her home. She was born on August 4, 1914 in Lindsey to the now deceased Charles E. and Mary Ellen (Anstead) Hetrick. Corrine was a 1932 graduate of Harris Elmore High School. On September 9, 1944 she married Clifford Fosnaught at Emmanuel Lutheran Church. He died January 2, 2000. Corrine was a homemaker and loving mother. She had worked part time at the post office and elevator office in Lindsey for a number of years. Corrine was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, treasurer of the church Circle and financial secretary for 18 years. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, baking bread and canning. Corrine was known for her quick wit, wisdom and dry sense of humor.
Surviving are daughters, Jeanne (Oscar) Morlett of Foothill Ranch, CA and Kathy (Steve) Buckley of Columbus, OH; 2 grandsons, Brian (Megan Bussey) & Kevin Buckley; 2 step grandsons, Oscar Morlett Jr. & Alex Morlett; brother, Elmer Hetrick of Lindsey. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Irvin, Floyd, Wilbert, Raymond and Paul Hetrick.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 2, 2007, 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont. Services will be held at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Hessville on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. with visitation at the church one hour prior to the service. Pastor Dennis Wansitler will be officiating. Burial will follow at Lindsey Cemetery.
