Loyal A. Fought

Loyal A. Fought, 78, of Helena went to be with Jesus on Monday at Memorial Hospital. He was born in rural Helena to the now-deceased Haven and Blanche (Barlekamp) Fought. Loyal was a 1946 graduate of Ross High School. He married Martha A. Swartzmiller on July 9, 1949 at Green Springs Methodist Church and she survives. Also surviving are son, Marvin (Frieda) of Helena; daughter Priscilla (Jeff) Webert of Helena; 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; and brother, Rev. Floyd Fought of Lakeside. In addition to his parents, he is preceded by son Wayne and daughter, Anna Fraley. Visitation was on Tuesday at the Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Gibsonburg. Services were held on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial was at Washington Chapel Cemetery, Hessville.
